Introducing the CTSIG Cardio-thoracic Special Interest Group.

The CTSIG is part of the New Zealand Society of Physiotherapists (NZSP) and exists to  represent cardiorespiratory interests amongst the physiotherapy profession.

Currently we have about 60 members. The committee comprises Chairperson (Fy Dunford), Secretary (Kylie Dyson), Treasurer(Victoria Jack) and committee members Karen Evison ( Education Liaison), Vivienne Pearce (Editor of Tidal Volumes - our Newsletter). These are voluntary posts, held by clinicians who give their time to review information from the NZSP; provide opportunity for ongoing education and answer day-to-day queries of a cardiorespiratory nature. Information is disseminated via email or within Tidal Volumes. There is a structured yearly plan and  objectives are measured using Key performance Indicators.
